what we fund
Mazon Australia
funds organisations through one-off grants and ongoing partnerships. This
includes Australian organisations providing food services directly to
individuals, food banks supporting organisations and international agencies
helping provide relief in crisis situations. We providing funding to organisations
working within Jewish communities and servicing the needs of the wider
community regardless of religion or ethnic background.
Current grantees
include:
Ozharvest
OzHarvest runs a Food Rescue Program that collects excess perishable
food from restaurants, caterers, function venues and corporate events
etc and delivers it in a refrigerated van to hostels, homeless refuges
and any organisation that feeds people in need. read
